Bonito Amann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Langhals in the 26th minute of the match. Patrick Gerulat's late challenge caught a Hochacht's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patrick Gerulat helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Borussia Dortmund's Patrick Gerulat got a free kick in the 27th minute. Andrej Schreiber struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Bonito Amann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hochacht. Demetrius Pohlschmidt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Benny Kuppermann when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Benny Kuppermann acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 91st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Klemens Daum. In the 95th minute, Andrej Schreiber got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Hochacht's Andrej Schreiber in the 99th minute got a chance for a shot 99th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Hochacht supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Borussia Dortmund's performance. The match ended with a win for Borussia Dortmund.
