Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emmerich Olowka started the match with the kick off. Polonia Sinzing's Arne Pingel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Polonia Sinzing from getting a goal against them. Dietmar Mackowiak's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arne Pingel firmly grabbed it by the left post. Arne Pingel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bradley Goetsch, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After a rather tough play, Polonia Sinzing's Reinhold Lachmann got a free kick in the 11th minute. Arne Pingel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradley Goetsch in the 12th minute of play. Jonas Bachler's late challenge caught a Veldershof FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Bachler helped the player get up and apologised. The goalkeeper, Arne Pingel, was totally fooled by Veldershof FSV's Casimir Bidermann, who 15 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. With a little luck, Polonia Sinzing's Arne Pingel got control of the ball when Patrick Thorbrügge tried to sneak it across the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Torben Stoyan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Polonia Sinzing's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Veldershof FSV the free kick. After 22 played minutes Polonia Sinzing got a freekick which was hit by Torben Stoyan. 27 minutes into the match, Polonia Sinzing's goalkeeper Arne Pingel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dietmar Mackowiak. When Casimir Bidermann fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Veldershof FSV's protests and gave Casimir Bidermann a yellow card for diving instead. 44 minutes into the match, Polonia Sinzing's goalkeeper Arne Pingel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dietmar Mackowiak. The referee felt a red card was in order, 45 minutes into the game, when Reinhold Lachmann put in a rough tackle. The supporters of Veldershof FSV booed when Polonia Sinzing was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinhold Lachmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Casimir Bidermann struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Arne Pingel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Veldershof FSV. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After 53 minutes, Patrick Thorbrügge mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Veldershof FSV and the Polonia Sinzing players grew even worse after the yellow card. Patrick Thorbrügge kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Arne Pingel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dietmar Mackowiak in the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute Bradley Goetsch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Pingel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alois Graf-Baier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Polonia Sinzing's Arne Pingel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bradley Goetsch in the 71st minute of play. Ole Neuling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the game, Ronald Vohwinkel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Polonia Sinzing's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Veldershof FSV the free kick. Arne Pingel had in the 76thth minute some difficulties stopping Casimir Bidermann's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Casimir Bidermann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arne Pingel. Polonia Sinzing's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Casimir Bidermann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 80th match minute, Polonia Sinzing was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Marsching to maneuver through the defense. Arne Pingel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Thorbrügge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute Bradley Goetsch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Pingel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arne Pingel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bradley Goetsch in the 87th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dietmar Mackowiak in the 88th minute of play forced Polonia Sinzing's goalkeeper Arne Pingel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arne Pingel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dietmar Mackowiak in the 94th minute of play. Arne Pingel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Thorbrügge in the 96th minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Ewald Bostock left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Veldershof FSV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. When the referee ended the match the Veldershof FSV players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
