If Reinhard Heberer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13thth minute of the game Simon Houdelet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Greste's Richard Dulitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Simon Houdelet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Greste's Engelbert Paul in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Käseburg's goalie prevented a goal. Greste's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Johannes Stingl ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 41st minute of the match Hans Fehr sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Richard Dulitz skillfully saved the ball. Gabriel Bolz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Engelbert Paul in the 43rd minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Simon Houdelet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of Greste:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Käseburg:s goal. Reinhard Heberer struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Richard Dulitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Käseburg. Michele Kuschminder charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michele Kuschminder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Simon Houdelet kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Lazarus Kallenbrunnen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gabriel Bolz firmly grabbed it by the left post.
