An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidor Drescher in the 9th minute of play forced Greste's goalkeeper Richard Dulitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidor Drescher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Richard Dulitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Richard Dulitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Gruhn, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. When Leo Westermann fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Greste's protests and gave Leo Westermann a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes Greste got a freekick which was hit by Leo Westermann. Richard Dulitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Gruhn, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th match minute, Höfen An Der Enz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tasso Böhmländer to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Höfen An Der Enz's zone, Lazarus Kallenbrunnen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toni Amsler came out of the goal and Lazarus Kallenbrunnen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 26 minutes, Engelbert Paul managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Greste's supporters crossed their fingers, but Engelbert Paul was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Greste's goalkeeper Richard Dulitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Greste's Richard Dulitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidor Drescher in the 32nd minute of play. Greste's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Richard Dulitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidor Drescher in the 41st minute of play. The supporters of Höfen An Der Enz booed when Greste was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Westermann didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Josef Husser had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Jann Rossel's late challenge caught a Höfen An Der Enz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jann Rossel helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Greste's Jann Rossel got a free kick in the 48th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Engelbert Paul made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Greste's zone, Isidor Drescher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richard Dulitz came out of the goal and Isidor Drescher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isidor Drescher succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 66th playminute. Jann Rossel got his second yellow card in the match during the 70th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 71st minute, Jann Rossel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard and well directed shot from Ali Krügel led 71 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Greste's Richard Dulitz became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-3. When Lazarus Kallenbrunnen came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Greste fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lazarus Kallenbrunnen couldn't finish the play. In the 77th minute of the match Tobias Schmedes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Toni Amsler showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 78 minutes into the game, Höfen An Der Enz's Isidor Drescher nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Richard Dulitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Isidor Drescher scored 0-5 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Richard Dulitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Matthias Bergmann struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Richard Dulitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Höfen An Der Enz. A hard shot 90 in the game by Isidor Drescher from a close distance when the talented Richard Dulitz managed to make a qualified save. Greste's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Gerhard Jaser managed to get in a good position for a shot. Höfen An Der Enz's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerhard Jaser was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Richard Dulitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 92nd minute, Engelbert Paul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richard Dulitz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 93rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ali Krügel. Isidor Drescher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Höfen An Der Enz's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
