Jacob Polenski's late challenge caught a VFB Schloß Holte's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacob Polenski helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Tellschütz getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Jacob Polenski hit a great ball. Ronny Beier was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Hector Schwab capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hector Schwab really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Schwab in the 12th minute of play forced Tellschütz's goalkeeper Ronny Beier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bruno Hoppensack fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tellschütz's protests and gave Bruno Hoppensack a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tellschütz getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Bruno Hoppensack hit a great ball. Ronny Beier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stephan Liebert went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Ronny Beier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Schwab in the 28th minute of play. After having played for 32 minutes, Hector Schwab managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VFB Schloß Holte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Schwab was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hector Schwab made a kick off. The supporters of Tellschütz booed when VFB Schloß Holte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernst Hegendörfer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacob Polenski hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stephan Liebert in the 68th minute of play forced Tellschütz's goalkeeper Ronny Beier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 72 played minutes Tellschütz got a freekick which was hit by Jacob Polenski. Ronny Beier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stephan Liebert, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Leif-Eric Wanner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jurij Schütze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Tellschütz's zone, Hector Schwab stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronny Beier came out of the goal and Hector Schwab tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 91 minutes into the match, Tellschütz's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Schwab came free, but Ronny Beier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
