Helko Scholven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Gabriel Bolz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 6 minutes into the match, Orfgen's goal looked a bit too open when Reinhard Heberer came free, but Cedric Knorra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute Eicke Nowak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Bolz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Käseburg getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Hemmo Schulcz hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Käseburg's Heiko Zantke got a free kick in the 9th minute. Orfgen's Cedric Knorra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Houdelet in the 15th minute of play. Gabriel Bolz came out of the goal and Eicke Nowak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 32 played minutes, Orfgen's Derk Ehlert shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gabriel Bolz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Orfgen reached it. Gabriel Bolz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eicke Nowak in the 34th minute of play. Cedric Knorra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinhard Heberer in the 38th minute of play. Eicke Nowak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Käseburg's zone, Kristian Kirsch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Bolz came out of the goal and Kristian Kirsch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cedric Knorra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Houdelet in the 54th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 56 minutes into the game, when Derk Ehlert put in a rough tackle. Cedric Knorra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Blum, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Kristian Kirsch hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the match, Käseburg's Johannes Stingl broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Cedric Knorra made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Reinhard Heberer sent off a good shot on target. Orfgen's Jorn Lange got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Helko Scholven came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Orfgen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Helko Scholven couldn't finish the play. If Jorn Lange had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
