Spectators: 7356 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, FSV Harz Thale's goalkeeper Thorsten Becker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bonito Redda. Karel Brockes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Adamek having to interfere. 9 minutes into the game, Reinhard Pöhnl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Go Go Busters's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FSV Harz Thale the free kick. The supporters of FSV Harz Thale booed when Go Go Busters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinhard Pöhnl didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute Dragan Kömm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Adamek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th match minute, FSV Harz Thale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sönke Grupe to maneuver through the defense. Thorsten Becker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gösta Brecher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Go Go Busters's zone, Dragan Kömm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lars Adamek came out of the goal and Dragan Kömm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 30 minutes into the match, Dragan Kömm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lars Adamek. Go Go Busters's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dragan Kömm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Thorsten Becker successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gösta Brecher's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thorsten Becker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Hossam Hurst recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Go Go Busters's Gösta Brecher sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thorsten Becker narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

Bonito Redda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Thorsten Becker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karel Brockes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpected shot in the 70th minute by Dragan Kömm got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Go Go Busters's Dariusz Dietrich got a free kick in the 71st minute. If Dragan Kömm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Karel Brockes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dragan Kömm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match was over FSV Harz Thale could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Go Go Busters throughout the match.
