Robert Laukenmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Paulus Wienecke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the game, Hans Pankotsch recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Boubacar Ofori. Hans Pankotsch showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. D.S.I Eichenberg's Paulus Wienecke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Laukenmann in the 14th minute of play. Zinédine Kienböck charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zinédine Kienböck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to TB Richen getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Zinédine Kienböck hit a great ball. Boubacar Ofori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Pankotsch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Gabriel Bombard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Johannes Köffer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boubacar Ofori having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Corvin Kreissler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulus Wienecke was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a rather tough play, D.S.I Eichenberg's Sven Stachowsky got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute, Boris Zapf sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and D.S.I Eichenberg's Paulus Wienecke didn't even have to move. Robert Laukenmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Robert Laukenmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 45th minute of the match Zinédine Kienböck completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Zinédine Kienböck a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 46th minute, Zinédine Kienböck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After some careless play in the TB Richen defense, Johannes Köffer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boubacar Ofori. The TB Richen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boubacar Ofori should have stopped the shot. After having played for 61 minutes, Volker Labsch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TB Richen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Volker Labsch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 63 minutes into the match, D.S.I Eichenberg's Hans Pankotsch sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Boubacar Ofori narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Johannes Köffer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mario Stevens got free with Paulus Wienecke in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sven Stachowsky's late challenge caught a TB Richen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sven Stachowsky helped the player get up and apologised. Sven Stachowsky kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. TB Richen's Boris Zapf couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 69th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for D.S.I Eichenberg. Johannes Köffer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boubacar Ofori having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, D.S.I Eichenberg's goalkeeper Paulus Wienecke had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Corvin Kreissler. After 77 minutes, Piero Behling mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the D.S.I Eichenberg and the TB Richen players grew even worse after the yellow card. Piero Behling hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Paulus Wienecke made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Corvin Kreissler sent off a good shot on target. Corvin Kreissler had several of the D.S.I Eichenberg's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 82 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Paulus Wienecke as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 86th minute Johannes Köffer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boubacar Ofori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 88 minutes, Mario Stevens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TB Richen and the D.S.I Eichenberg players grew even worse after the yellow card. D.S.I Eichenberg's Paulus Wienecke proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save D.S.I Eichenberg from getting a goal against them. Mario Stevens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulus Wienecke read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Corvin Kreissler got free with Paulus Wienecke in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. TB Richen were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
