Spectators: 7483 (Terracing: 5614, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Simon Bollwerk started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, FC Poldi's Raphael Blees got a free kick in the 2nd minute. FC Poldi's Emmerich Schmitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erwin Abendroth in the 4th minute of play. Leik Tripp kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 10 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Wiederau's Simon Bollwerk fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Hieronymus Bergermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leif-Eric Wegener fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Menzel having to interfere. In the 23rdth minute of the game Erwin Abendroth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Poldi's Emmerich Schmitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Erwin Abendroth had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emmerich Schmitz. FC Poldi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erwin Abendroth was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Erwin Abendroth's late challenge caught a FC Poldi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erwin Abendroth helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th minute, Erwin Abendroth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute, Luca Böck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Poldi's Jens Hennecke couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Wiederau. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerhart Mönch in the 34th minute of play forced Wiederau's goalkeeper Fabian Menzel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erwin Abendroth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emmerich Schmitz having to interfere. Wiederau's Simon Bollwerk got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erwin Abendroth in the 40th minute of play forced FC Poldi's goalkeeper Emmerich Schmitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raphael Blees hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Wiederau's Erwin Abendroth got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Leif-Eric Wegener fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Poldi's protests and gave Leif-Eric Wegener a yellow card for diving instead. Leif-Eric Wegener hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Emmerich Schmitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erwin Abendroth's shot from short distance in the 49th minute. The FC Poldi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Wiederau were winning 0-2.

A collision led to FC Poldi getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Raphael Blees hit a great ball. Emmerich Schmitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Bollwerk in the 56th minute of play. Erwin Abendroth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emmerich Schmitz having to interfere. 60 minutes into the game, one of FC Poldi:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Emmerich Schmitz went to the wrong direction when Tino Lange was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The audience was convinced that Simon Bollwerk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emmerich Schmitz was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. If Erwin Abendroth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Simon Bollwerk fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Gerhart Mönch came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the FC Poldi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerhart Mönch couldn't finish the play. Emmerich Schmitz made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Erwin Abendroth sent off a good shot on target. Simon Bollwerk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Emmerich Schmitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emmerich Schmitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Bollwerk in the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Wiederau's Simon Bollwerk ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emmerich Schmitz. Emmerich Schmitz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Wiederau played a much better game than FC Poldi and deserved their victory. The FC Poldi players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
