Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Niklas Pleve made the kick off which started today's match. Niklas Pleve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Berrang having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walter Werner in the 7th minute of play forced FC Volley's goalkeeper Fabian Berrang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Jaffke in the 17th minute of play forced FSV Thale 22's goalkeeper Yannick Alzen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yannick Alzen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Jaffke, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. FSV Thale 22's Yannick Alzen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save FSV Thale 22 from getting a goal against them. Walter Werner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Herwig Betz's late challenge caught a FSV Thale 22's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herwig Betz helped the player get up and apologised. Herwig Betz kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Yannick Alzen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Jaffke in the 42nd minute of play. Walter Werner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Fabian Berrang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th match minute, FC Volley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimo Stumm to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

51 minutes into the match, FC Volley's goalkeeper Fabian Berrang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mattes Dahlmann. Walter Werner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Fabian Berrang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, FSV Thale 22's Niklas Pleve sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabian Berrang narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Niklas Pleve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabian Berrang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Werner in the 78th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Volley's zone, Walter Werner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabian Berrang came out of the goal and Walter Werner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Walter Werner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Fabian Berrang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walter Werner was extremely unlucky when he, in the 84th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 86th minute, Hakon Hormes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Walter Werner got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. FSV Thale 22's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
