Klemens Gaisenkersting showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fritz Westerwinter, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Enno Gerke blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jens Dietrich having to make a save. A collision led to Ghetto Boys 09 getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Fabian Kirchmer hit a great ball. Alertshausen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ghetto Boys 09 the free kick. Ghetto Boys 09 made a substitution. Reinhold Wieczorek replaced Stephan Haraszti. After 33 played minutes Alertshausen got a freekick which was hit by Jupp Seuß. After 36 minutes, Phil Tamm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alertshausen and the Ghetto Boys 09 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th match minute, Alertshausen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phil Tamm to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the game, Gerhart Urutau was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ghetto Boys 09's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alertshausen the free kick. The supporters of Alertshausen booed when Ghetto Boys 09 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerhart Urutau didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Heiner Geldreich to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jupp Seuß in the 55th minute of play forced Ghetto Boys 09's goalkeeper Klemens Gaisenkersting to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute Fritz Westerwinter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klemens Gaisenkersting saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Klaus Martinek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ghetto Boys 09's supporters rose to their feet, but Klaus Martinek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens Dietrich breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jens Dietrich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heiner Geldreich in the 60th minute of play. Klemens Gaisenkersting showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fritz Westerwinter, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Jens Dietrich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klaus Martinek, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Ghetto Boys 09's Dion Kartz got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Klemens Gaisenkersting took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willy Kunze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Alertshausen's Jens Dietrich got control of the ball when Fabian Kirchmer tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Heiner Geldreich, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 80 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jens Dietrich was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. With 85 minutes on the clock, Gerhart Urutau commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Klemens Gaisenkersting had in the 86thth minute some difficulties stopping Herbert Gillesen's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Herbert Gillesen scored 3-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Klemens Gaisenkersting, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Klemens Gaisenkersting showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Phil Tamm, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Enno Gerke struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Jens Dietrich didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ghetto Boys 09.
