Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Robbie Nergert started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Fredy Kothe recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Torben Gellrich. Fredy Kothe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Torben Gellrich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fatih Körth in the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Christoph Wurm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SK Rapid Nord's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Batschweiler FC the free kick. Torben Gellrich stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fredy Kothe's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Torben Gellrich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredy Kothe in the 18th minute of the match. Torben Gellrich made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Heiko Karhoff sent off a good shot on target. Torben Gellrich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredy Kothe, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. If Christoph Wurm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, SK Rapid Nord's Ibrahim Stehr got a free kick in the 38th minute. After 43 played minutes Batschweiler FC got a freekick which was hit by Uffe Grimminger. In the 45th minute Robbie Nergert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theo Schirmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of SK Rapid Nord booed when Batschweiler FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olof Bodenstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 48 played minutes, SK Rapid Nord's Ibrahim Stehr shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Theo Schirmer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SK Rapid Nord reached it.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henning Rohn to strike the kick off in the second half. Fredy Kothe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Torben Gellrich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torben Gellrich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henning Rohn in the 56th minute of play. If Henning Rohn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robbie Nergert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo Schirmer having to interfere. Batschweiler FC's Theo Schirmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoph Wurm in the 63rd minute of play. Christoph Wurm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harro Hommertgen got his second yellow card in the match during the 68th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. When Fatih Körth came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Batschweiler FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fatih Körth couldn't finish the play. Robbie Nergert struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Theo Schirmer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Rapid Nord. Torben Gellrich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fatih Körth in the 79th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Batschweiler FC's Fatih Körth got a free kick in the 80th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Fatih Körth managed to get in a good position for a shot. Batschweiler FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fatih Körth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torben Gellrich breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Fatih Körth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Batschweiler FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
