In the 4th minute Nikolai Paulssen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Bockhahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 4 played minutes Pohlheim got a freekick which was hit by Fatih Heinicke. Berthold Francz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Berthold Francz struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Tommy Bockhahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BSV07Rintheim. Benedikt Heim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Tommy Bockhahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Berthold Francz's late challenge caught a Pohlheim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Berthold Francz helped the player get up and apologised. Berthold Francz kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd match minute, Pohlheim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrien Kritzer to maneuver through the defense. After 24 minutes, Berthold Francz made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Pohlheim's Tommy Bockhahn tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Benedikt Heim notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Pohlheim's Tommy Bockhahn. Tommy Bockhahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Henrico Auer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. BSV07Rintheim's Linus Bork played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Öhlmann in the 40th minute of play. Henry Öhlmann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Linus Bork read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benedikt Heim was the one to do the kick off. Antonio Hassel kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Berthold Francz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Bockhahn having to make a save. With his leg Tommy Bockhahn managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when BSV07Rintheim's Berthold Francz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Berthold Francz managed to get in a good position for a shot. BSV07Rintheim's supporters rose to their feet, but Berthold Francz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Bockhahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adrien Kritzer hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute, Berthold Francz made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Bockhahn. Pohlheim's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 88th minute, Berthold Francz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Bockhahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in BSV07Rintheim's zone, Henry Öhlmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Linus Bork came out of the goal and Henry Öhlmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. BSV07Rintheim's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
