Bero Münnecke was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jona Wegmann made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Tim Zahn sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th minute, Tim Zahn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ulrich Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xaver von den Berg might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bero Münnecke. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xaver von den Berg ran back to his position shaking his head. Xaver von den Berg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bero Münnecke having to interfere. After 22 minutes, Pitt Ludwig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Stolperhasen and the SG Groß Stieten players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of SG Groß Stieten booed when FC Stolperhasen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pitt Ludwig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pitt Ludwig took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bero Münnecke. SG Groß Stieten's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Xaver von den Berg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bero Münnecke having to make a save. Ulrich Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in FC Stolperhasen's zone, Jona Heiden stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jona Wegmann came out of the goal and Jona Heiden tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Vitus Mehler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, SG Groß Stieten's goal looked a bit too open when Xaver von den Berg came free, but Bero Münnecke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gottfried Walter came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the SG Groß Stieten fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gottfried Walter couldn't finish the play. Knut Grunwald's late challenge caught a FC Stolperhasen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Knut Grunwald helped the player get up and apologised. Knut Grunwald hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Xaver von den Berg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Stolperhasen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xaver von den Berg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Birk Frohwein kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The SG Groß Stieten players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Stolperhasen were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Ulrich Schmidt made the kick off in the second half. Bero Münnecke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulrich Schmidt in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd match minute, SG Groß Stieten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Knut Grunwald to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Ulrich Schmidt took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Bero Münnecke to make any attempt to save it. In the 65th minute of the match, Ulrich Schmidt tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bero Münnecke saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rolf Martin hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Xaver von den Berg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Bero Münnecke made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gottfried Walter in the 74th minute of play forced FC Stolperhasen's goalkeeper Jona Wegmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Knut Grunwald kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. SG Groß Stieten made a substitution. Finn Latendorf replaced Rolf Martin. In the 82nd minute, Knut Grunwald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, SG Groß Stieten's goalkeeper Bero Münnecke had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xaver von den Berg. Gottfried Walter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the game, Claudius Obels was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Stolperhasen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SG Groß Stieten the free kick. The FC Stolperhasen supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Stolperhasen would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
