Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rudi Behrisch started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudi Behrisch in the 13th minute of play forced Mount Ararat's goalkeeper Georg Kracht to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, one of Mount Ararat:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mount Ararat. Heinrich Magath kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Rudi Behrisch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Ekkehard Starke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mount Ararat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eden the free kick. In the 27th match minute, Mount Ararat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ekkehard Starke to maneuver through the defense. Mount Ararat's Georg Kracht played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudi Behrisch in the 28th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Eden got a freekick which was hit by Federico Eggerking. Georg Kracht showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudi Behrisch in the 33rd minute of the match. If Henrik Link had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ekkehard Starke hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. A collision led to Mount Ararat getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Ekkehard Starke hit a great ball. A hard shot by Ludwig Riesenberg from long distance, 40 minutes into the match, got Georg Kracht's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Armin Egger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th match minute, Eden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Link to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armin Egger to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Rudi Behrisch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georg Kracht saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henrik Link in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Georg Kracht prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Eden's Conny Küfner got a free kick in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudi Behrisch in the 62nd minute of play forced Mount Ararat's goalkeeper Georg Kracht to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Henrik Link got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 68th minute, Hasso Hansen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Georg Kracht took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudi Behrisch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rudi Behrisch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Georg Kracht made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudi Behrisch in the 73rd minute of play. Rudi Behrisch scored 3-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Georg Kracht, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Rudi Behrisch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Georg Kracht was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Mount Ararat's Georg Kracht played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudi Behrisch in the 81st minute of play. Georg Kracht showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudi Behrisch, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute Henrik Link shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georg Kracht saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Henrik Link had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Georg Kracht. Mount Ararat's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henrik Link was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Rudi Behrisch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Georg Kracht tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
