Waldemar Ebersbacher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Funke having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karsten Stammler during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th minute, one of SV Amwald:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SV Amwald. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dietmar Kuklinski in the 12th minute of play forced Iserlohn's goalkeeper Roger Funke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roger Funke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dietmar Kuklinski in the 15th minute of the match. Waldemar Ebersbacher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Roger Funke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 21 minutes, Waldemar Ebersbacher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SV Amwald's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waldemar Ebersbacher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benny Hanewinckel charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benny Hanewinckel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd match minute, Iserlohn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benny Hanewinckel to maneuver through the defense. After 23 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Iserlohn! Dietmar Kuklinski struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Roger Funke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SV Amwald. In the 36th minute, Ali Ertan Brenner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of SV Amwald booed when Iserlohn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustav Feuerstein didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frederico Blaßkiewitz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roger Funke. Iserlohn's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 46th minute, Gerald Bontz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ismael Ueberle acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 47th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jürgen Mühlfort. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Dietmar Kuklinski made the kick off in the second half. Ismael Ueberle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kilian Decker in the 53rd minute of the match. Ismael Ueberle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kilian Decker in the 54th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Joachim Müllerschön managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iserlohn's supporters rose to their feet, but Joachim Müllerschön was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Ueberle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gerald Bontz kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After 60 played minutes, Iserlohn's Jürgen Mühlfort shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ismael Ueberle came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Iserlohn reached it. After 62 minutes of play, Iserlohn's Kilian Decker made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ismael Ueberle was left in no man's land by his defense there! Roger Funke made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Waldemar Ebersbacher sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Iserlohn booed when SV Amwald was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Kunstwadl didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute, Jürgen Mühlfort sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SV Amwald's Ismael Ueberle didn't even have to move. SV Amwald's Ismael Ueberle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joachim Müllerschön in the 72nd minute of play. Kilian Decker struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Ismael Ueberle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iserlohn. After some careless play in the SV Amwald defense, Joachim Müllerschön kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ismael Ueberle. The SV Amwald fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael Ueberle should have stopped the shot. Gerald Bontz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Roger Funke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dietmar Kuklinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Dietmar Kuklinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute Joachim Müllerschön shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Ueberle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iserlohn were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SV Amwald for a fine match.
