Mario Merczak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Roland Schacht tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Dinay Sports 06's Heinrich Ritzmann in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Altenbork's goalie prevented a goal. 14 minutes into the match, Altenbork's goalkeeper Roland Schacht had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benny Schmitz. Altenbork's Roland Schacht played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elia Koop in the 20th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Dinay Sports 06's zone, Jakob Tollmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johannes Schimmelpfennig came out of the goal and Jakob Tollmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roland Schacht made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hernando Brunkhorst in the 24th minute. Franz Zindler's late challenge caught a Altenbork's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Franz Zindler helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th match minute, Dinay Sports 06 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franz Zindler to maneuver through the defense. Johannes Schimmelpfennig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erwin Jablonski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benny Schmitz kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Altenbork's goal looked a bit too open when Heinrich Ritzmann came free, but Roland Schacht reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36thth minute of the game Jakob Tollmann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dinay Sports 06's Johannes Schimmelpfennig was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roland Schacht was a little too slow when Hernando Brunkhorst got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 1-0. Lutz Ziegelmüller was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 43 minutes into the match. The supporters of Dinay Sports 06 booed when Altenbork was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lutz Ziegelmüller didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute of the match Sven Widmann shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roland Schacht showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Altenbork's Franz Dziersan got a free kick in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erwin Jablonski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Franz Dziersan's late challenge caught a Dinay Sports 06's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With a little luck, Dinay Sports 06's Johannes Schimmelpfennig got control of the ball when Erwin Jablonski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 61st minute, Mario Merczak made a precise shot to the right of Roland Schacht. Altenbork's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The throw-in from Franz Zindler in the 64th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Altenbork's Franz Dziersan. 67 minutes into the game, Altenbork's Erwin Jablonski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Johannes Schimmelpfennig made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 72nd minute, Fidelio Kaulbach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roland Schacht showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Merczak, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Roland Schacht took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernando Brunkhorst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Erwin Jablonski came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Altenbork fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erwin Jablonski couldn't finish the play. With his leg Johannes Schimmelpfennig managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Altenbork's Erwin Jablonski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bernhard Conrad hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Altenbork's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
