Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) SV Stuttgarter Kickers's Markus Edewecht started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Jakob Tollmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Altenbork booed when SV Stuttgarter Kickers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philo Krughöfer didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jakob Tollmann came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Altenbork fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jakob Tollmann couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Altenbork's zone, Philo Krughöfer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roland Schacht came out of the goal and Philo Krughöfer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Toni Zabel made in the 24th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Markus Edewecht. The crowd rose to their feet as SV Stuttgarter Kickers's Clint Ngo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roland Schacht. That made the score 1-0 after 26 minutes of play. Altenbork's Roland Schacht played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gert Yilmaz in the 29th minute of play. Philo Krughöfer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roland Schacht read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Clint Ngo came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Roland Schacht could save by the left post. In the 41st minute, Rutger Maier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Franz Dziersan hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

After a rather tough play, Altenbork's Erwin Jablonski got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Clint Ngo scored 2-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roland Schacht, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 64 minutes into the game, Philo Krughöfer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SV Stuttgarter Kickers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Altenbork the free kick. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind SV Stuttgarter Kickers's goalkeeper Renatus Ewen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Roland Schacht made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helmar Lüngen in the 75th minute of play. Roland Schacht took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philo Krughöfer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th match minute, Altenbork was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernhard Conrad to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, SV Stuttgarter Kickers's Renatus Ewen got control of the ball when Erwin Jablonski tried to sneak it across the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Helmar Lüngen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roland Schacht. Altenbork's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Helmar Lüngen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 89th minute, Bernhard Conrad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roland Schacht made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helmar Lüngen in the 94th minute of play. Roland Schacht took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Helmar Lüngen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rutger Maier kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. In the 97th minute of the match Toni Zabel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roland Schacht showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
