Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Storchenhof's Wilfried Ewald started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Storchenhof's Dieter Schächterle got a free kick in the 4th minute. When Wilfried Ewald came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Storchenhof fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilfried Ewald couldn't finish the play. 18 minutes into the match, Carlos Saure had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dietmar Kornath. Storchenhof's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Saure was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In a very dangerous position, a player in Storchenhof fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! In the 21st minute there was a penalty for Bocket FC. Peer Wirtgen stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dietmar Kornath. 3-0. When Habib Godenschwengen fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Storchenhof's protests and gave Habib Godenschwengen a yellow card for diving instead. After 28 played minutes Storchenhof got a freekick which was hit by Habib Godenschwengen. Dietmar Kornath showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedikt Andres, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Carlos Saure could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Dietmar Kornath however easily saved by the left post. Dietmar Kornath made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedikt Andres in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Geert Sachse was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Storchenhof's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bocket FC the free kick. After 34 played minutes Storchenhof got a freekick which was hit by Geert Sachse. Benedikt Andres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dietmar Kornath took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedikt Andres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Benedikt Andres made the kick off in the second half. Wilfried Ewald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute Wilfried Ewald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feddo Scherbaum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abbe Huber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dieter Schächterle during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dieter Schächterle kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Storchenhof's Dietmar Kornath played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Saure in the 71st minute of play. A collision led to Storchenhof getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Sönke Hopp hit a great ball. Dietmar Kornath made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Saure in the 80th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Habib Godenschwengen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Wilfried Ewald managed to get in a good position for a shot. Storchenhof's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilfried Ewald was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feddo Scherbaum breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
