Beat Bär scored 2-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leon Bretschneider, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rolf Daumann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kajus Nordmann having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Dynamo Wedding's Marcello Weippert got a free kick in the 41st minute. Tobi Kuhr hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the match, Holzmanns's goal looked a bit too open when Rolf Daumann came free, but Kajus Nordmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute of the match Georg Reubold sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kajus Nordmann skillfully saved the ball.
The wind increased when Rolf Daumann made the kick off in the second half. Rüdiger Hännig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kajus Nordmann having to interfere. Dynamo Wedding's Hermann Merk got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 58th minute by Rolf Daumann got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Rolf Daumann kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kajus Nordmann. That made the score 2-2 in the 67 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Holzmanns's zone, Rolf Daumann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kajus Nordmann came out of the goal and Rolf Daumann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maxim Dutzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Kajus Nordmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Rolf Daumann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dynamo Wedding's supporters rose to their feet, but Rolf Daumann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kajus Nordmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Beat Bär fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Bretschneider having to interfere. A collision led to Dynamo Wedding getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Maxim Dutzi hit a great ball. Dynamo Wedding's Leon Bretschneider played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dierk Hägele in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute Beat Bär shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Bretschneider saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Holzmanns's Kajus Nordmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Holzmanns from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Dynamo Wedding booed when Holzmanns was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobi Kuhr didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Rolf Daumann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maxim Dutzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Kajus Nordmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Rolf Daumann notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Holzmanns's Kajus Nordmann. Kajus Nordmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leon Bretschneider made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beat Bär in the 97th minute of play. Dynamo Wedding's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
