Markus Edewecht started the match with the kick off. Helmar Lüngen's late challenge caught a Endersbacher FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Helmar Lüngen helped the player get up and apologised. After 4 played minutes SV Stuttgarter Kickers got a freekick which was hit by Helmar Lüngen. In the 11th minute of the match Toni Zabel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jochen Faigle showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jochen Faigle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philo Krughöfer, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. When Sönke Brandl came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Endersbacher FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sönke Brandl couldn't finish the play. Renatus Ewen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sönke Brandl in the 23rd minute of play. Endersbacher FC's Jochen Faigle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markus Edewecht in the 27th minute of play. Philo Krughöfer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jochen Faigle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. When Haimo Haldenwang fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Endersbacher FC's protests and gave Haimo Haldenwang a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th minute, Haimo Haldenwang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Endersbacher FC's Florian Rohrbacher got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Toni Zabel's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Jochen Faigle - 0-1 was put on the score board in the 33rd minute. Philo Krughöfer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jochen Faigle having to interfere. Markus Edewecht received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Jochen Faigle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind SV Stuttgarter Kickers's goalkeeper Renatus Ewen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Endersbacher FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SV Stuttgarter Kickers were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sönke Brandl made a kick off. Jochen Faigle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Philo Krughöfer in the 52nd minute. Philo Krughöfers short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Jochen Faigle to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gerard Mansour Al hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Markus Edewecht's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jochen Faigle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Markus Edewecht in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jochen Faigle saved Endersbacher FC from getting behind. Jochen Faigle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Markus Edewecht in the 65th minute of the match. Helmar Lüngen kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. The SV Stuttgarter Kickers fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when SV Stuttgarter Kickers's Philo Krughöfer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jochen Faigle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markus Edewecht in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Andi Lambert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute of the match Cicero Thelen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jochen Faigle skillfully saved the ball. Philo Krughöfer struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Jochen Faigle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SV Stuttgarter Kickers. 86 minutes into the game, SV Stuttgarter Kickers's Philo Krughöfer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jochen Faigle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Markus Edewecht in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jochen Faigle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95thth minute of the game Hugo Koester who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SV Stuttgarter Kickers's Renatus Ewen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The SV Stuttgarter Kickers players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
