Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Rothensee's Emilio Degner started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kasimir Fusten was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jorn Hußmann showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Helmut Engels hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Wolf Frieden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philo Bodewig in the 25th minute of play. Kasimir Fusten came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Conweiler's Artur Solms. But to his dismay, Artur Solms quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilio Degner in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wolf Frieden saved Conweiler from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artur Solms got free with Kasimir Fusten in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th match minute, Rothensee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Degner to maneuver through the defense. Wolf Frieden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philo Bodewig, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Philo Bodewig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wolf Frieden having to interfere. Wolf Frieden didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emilio Degner went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Conweiler booed when Rothensee was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Levan Waclawiak didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorn Hußmann was the one to do the kick off. Helmut Engels kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Wolf Frieden acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 55th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Maiko Motzer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Degner in the 58th minute of play forced Conweiler's goalkeeper Wolf Frieden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Rothensee booed when Conweiler was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timo Jung didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Rothensee's Maiko Motzer tried to score from far away in the 64th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Patrick Bankett fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Conweiler's protests and gave Patrick Bankett a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Conweiler getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Patrick Bankett hit a great ball. Emilio Degner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ludger Humbert's late challenge caught a Rothensee's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ludger Humbert helped the player get up and apologised. After 87 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Conweiler! The goalkeeper, Wolf Frieden, was totally fooled by Rothensee's Maiko Motzer, who 90 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Emilio Degner struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Wolf Frieden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rothensee. 96 minutes into the game, one of Conweiler:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The Conweiler supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rothensee's performance. The match ended with a win for Rothensee.
