Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Carsten Schellheimer started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd minute, Adonis Bernhauer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 5th minute, Renatus Heimann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SuS Scheidingen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to Dynamo Dresden getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Adonis Bernhauer hit a great ball. In the 10th minute of the match Heiko Rapp sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mario Martinek skillfully saved the ball. In the 28th minute Laslo Mach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolomeo Weißbrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harald Wolf charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Harald Wolf the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Harald Wolf kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st match minute, SuS Scheidingen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heiko Rapp to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute of the match Carsten Schellheimer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bartolomeo Weißbrot showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Laslo Mach's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bartolomeo Weißbrot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SuS Scheidingen's Günther Schächterle got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 42nd minute Renatus Heimann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Martinek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Heiko Rapp fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SuS Scheidingen's protests and gave Heiko Rapp a yellow card for diving instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Günther Schächterle hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Mario Martinek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Klages in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th match minute, Dynamo Dresden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adonis Bernhauer to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beat Schöne got free with Mario Martinek in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dynamo Dresden's Carsten Schellheimer got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Dynamo Dresden's Rupert Bergmeister got a free kick in the 76th minute. Bartolomeo Weißbrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laslo Mach in the 79th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SuS Scheidingen's zone, Carsten Schellheimer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bartolomeo Weißbrot came out of the goal and Carsten Schellheimer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cosmo Kellner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cosmo Kellner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
