Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Brix Wiest made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 5th minute, Robert Theunissen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Krafft during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 10th minute, Daniel Krafft hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joachim Jank showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brix Wiest, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 14th match minute, Brockensen FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolf Breukelmann to maneuver through the defense. Manfred Desoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of FSV STENDAL 23 booed when Brockensen FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Taube didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute Emilio Unold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marc Kosten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marc Kosten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Unold, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The audience was convinced that Brix Wiest's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joachim Jank was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. After 26 played minutes FSV STENDAL 23 got a freekick which was hit by Emil Voise. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brix Wiest in the 33rd minute of play forced FSV STENDAL 23's goalkeeper Joachim Jank to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manfred Desoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Kosten having to interfere. After 35 played minutes Brockensen FSV got a freekick which was hit by Ali Taube. If Robert Theunissen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Gerold Zinnbauer made the kick off in the second half. Marc Kosten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerold Zinnbauer in the 51st minute of play. If Gerold Zinnbauer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62ndth minute of the game Brix Wiest who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FSV STENDAL 23's Joachim Jank was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of FSV STENDAL 23 booed when Brockensen FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulrich Richter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerold Zinnbauer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Kosten having to interfere. Manfred Desoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 80 minutes, Robert Theunissen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brockensen FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Theunissen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joachim Jank made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brix Wiest in the 81st minute of play. Manfred Desoi took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marc Kosten. Marc Kosten dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After having played for 92 minutes, Fritz Arnold managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FSV STENDAL 23's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fritz Arnold was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FSV STENDAL 23 had played much better football throughout.
