Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Batho Söldner kicked off to start the match. Toni Krumrei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Lance Kruse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, LA Soccer's José Labinsky got control of the ball when Lars Binninger tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lance Kruse came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by LA Soccer's Toni Krumrei. But to his dismay, Toni Krumrei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Lars Binninger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but José Labinsky made a huge save. Batho Söldner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lars Binninger struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. José Labinsky didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Holzgerlingen FSV. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Batho Söldner in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Labinsky prevented the ball from getting in the gole. José Labinsky made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Lars Binninger sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th minute Friedrich Wuschech shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lance Kruse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. LA Soccer's Toni Krumrei got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. José Labinsky made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lars Binninger in the 36th minute. In the 37th match minute, LA Soccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugen Tegtmeyer to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the game, LA Soccer's Friedrich Wuschech nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lance Kruse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Lars Binninger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Holzgerlingen FSV getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Sigurd Berthelé hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Holzgerlingen FSV's Batho Söldner got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st minute Batho Söldner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Labinsky saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lars Binninger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute, Holzgerlingen FSV's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Toni Krumrei fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Batho Söldner spun around in front of the goal 76 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of LA Soccer's goal. LA Soccer's José Labinsky played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Binninger in the 88th minute of play. Batho Söldner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. José Labinsky tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by LA Soccer's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fred Seehofer was slow to take the kick. During this time Holzgerlingen FSV's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Fred Seehofer almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but LA Soccer's José Labinsky did a great save. LA Soccer's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
