The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Wimberg FSV's Gretel Weigant nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After having played for 30 minutes, Heinrich Göller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wahnebergen FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Heinrich Göller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wimberg FSV's Robert Schwarz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Immanuel Vieten in the 31st minute of play. After having played for 32 minutes, Gretel Weigant managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wimberg FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gretel Weigant was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ole Per Narr charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a rather tough play, Wahnebergen FC's Gero Grajewski got a free kick in the 38th minute. Wimberg FSV's Mario Schaaf couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 39th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Wahnebergen FC. Heinrich Göller could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Robert Schwarz made a huge save. The supporters of Wahnebergen FC booed when Wimberg FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georgi Tekes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Wimberg FSV's zone, Heinrich Göller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robert Schwarz came out of the goal and Heinrich Göller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Immanuel Vieten to make the kick off. Robert Schwarz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Immanuel Vieten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Arpad Grobmaul fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wahnebergen FC's protests and gave Arpad Grobmaul a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Wimberg FSV booed when Wahnebergen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arpad Grobmaul didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Wahnebergen FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Heinrich Göller hit a great ball. Angel Wölfer kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Mario Effertz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raphael Wengenroth kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Heinrich Göller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Robert Schwarz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Wimberg FSV's goalkeeper Robert Schwarz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Immanuel Vieten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Wimberg FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Heinrich Göller came free, but Robert Schwarz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wimberg FSV's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
