Johannes Hatterscheid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Alfons Zerres managed to get in a good position for a shot. SG LaOla Bielefeld's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfons Zerres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reinhold Krall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Johannes Hatterscheid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinhold Krall having to interfere. Paavo Lieberz kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After some careless play in the TSV Gutsherren defense, Alfons Zerres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reinhold Krall. The TSV Gutsherren fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reinhold Krall should have stopped the shot. In the 34th minute Alfons Zerres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinhold Krall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, SG LaOla Bielefeld's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Knecht came free, but Erik Büttner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfons Zerres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Reinhold Krall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half SG LaOla Bielefeld were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Roman Knecht made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Roman Knecht notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of SG LaOla Bielefeld's Erik Büttner. Erik Büttner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Erik Büttner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marian Zötzsche in the 62nd minute of the match. Paavo Lieberz hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Marian Zötzsche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Büttner having to interfere. Justin Weisskirchen kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Erik Büttner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Zötzsche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 70 minutes, Roman Knecht managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TSV Gutsherren's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roman Knecht was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Johannes Hatterscheid kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Stefan Hörsting hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, Alfons Zerres had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reinhold Krall. TSV Gutsherren's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfons Zerres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Marian Zötzsche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Erik Büttner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 86 minutes, Marian Zötzsche managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TSV Gutsherren's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marian Zötzsche was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 88 played minutes TSV Gutsherren got a freekick which was hit by Stephan Kuglmeier. Johannes Hatterscheid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinhold Krall having to interfere. The SG LaOla Bielefeld supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SG LaOla Bielefeld would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
