Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Albrecht Röhrenbach managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vfl Grafenwald's supporters rose to their feet, but Albrecht Röhrenbach was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Theobald Watzek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Vfl Grafenwald getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Roman Pabst hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Vfl Grafenwald's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Struck came free, but Berthold Tauber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Vfl Grafenwald defense, Jonathan Struck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Berthold Tauber. The Vfl Grafenwald fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Berthold Tauber should have stopped the shot. Domenico Schaub received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Berthold Tauber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domenico Schaub fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berthold Tauber having to interfere. Balthasar Gries's late challenge caught a Vfl Grafenwald's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Balthasar Gries helped the player get up and apologised. FC Augsburg:s Theobald Watzek showed great skill when he stopped Oliver Dazer:s penalty. Theobald Watzek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raimund Pabst went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Albrecht Röhrenbach scored 1-3 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Theobald Watzek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Augsburg's Theobald Watzek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustav Spangenberg in the 37th minute of play. Albrecht Röhrenbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Theobald Watzek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Struck in the 40th minute of play forced Vfl Grafenwald's goalkeeper Berthold Tauber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Vfl Grafenwald's Berthold Tauber got control of the ball when Domenico Schaub tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Jonathan Struck came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the FC Augsburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Struck couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 55thth minute of the game Albrecht Röhrenbach who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Augsburg's Theobald Watzek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Berthold Tauber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domenico Schaub in the 56th minute of play. Berthold Tauber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Struck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in FC Augsburg's zone, Raimund Pabst stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Theobald Watzek came out of the goal and Raimund Pabst tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 67 minutes into the match, FC Augsburg's goal looked a bit too open when Albrecht Röhrenbach came free, but Theobald Watzek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Raimund Pabst got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Theobald Watzek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albrecht Röhrenbach in the 70th minute of play. Reto Krämer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Berthold Tauber. Vfl Grafenwald's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Theobald Watzek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albrecht Röhrenbach in the 74th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Gustav Spangenberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Theobald Watzek quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jonathan Struck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 78 played minutes Vfl Grafenwald got a freekick which was hit by Gustav Spangenberg. Domenico Schaub received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Berthold Tauber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Berthold Tauber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Struck in the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th match minute, FC Augsburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horst Mayr to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute Domenico Schaub shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berthold Tauber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domenico Schaub in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Berthold Tauber prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
