Finne's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 10 minutes into the game, Frederico Mühlenhaupt recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dietmar Trommer. Frederico Mühlenhaupt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After having played for 13 minutes, Frederico Mühlenhaupt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Finne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frederico Mühlenhaupt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 18 played minutes Finne got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Pfahl. Ramon Schulte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konrad Bix in the 21st minute of play. Ramon Schulte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Volker Bentz went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 32nd match minute, Finne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wolf Zellier to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 36 minutes, Konrad Bix managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wolsfeld's supporters crossed their fingers, but Konrad Bix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
