Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Marlishausen FC's Eckart Epping started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marcel Haubold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Limper having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jo Ariesen got free with Ture Burchardt in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Jo Ariesen put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ture Burchardt. Reinhold Steeger's late challenge caught a Niederbolheim SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reinhold Steeger helped the player get up and apologised. Reinhold Steeger kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Marlishausen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Haubold came free, but Stefan Limper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jo Ariesen hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Ture Burchardt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eckart Epping in the 23rd minute of play. Marcel Haubold hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Jo Ariesen kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 30thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Niederbolheim SC's keeper Ture Burchardt was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Jo Ariesen came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ture Burchardt could save by the left post. In the 33rd minute, Marcel Haubold made a precise shot to the right of Stefan Limper. Marlishausen FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Eckart Epping's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ture Burchardt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcel Haubold made a kick off. Ture Burchardt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eckart Epping's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Bülent Herz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stefan Limper. Marlishausen FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ture Burchardt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jo Ariesen in the 63rd minute of play. If Eckart Epping had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Odilo Post took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ture Burchardt. Ture Burchardt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 71st minute, Reinhold Steeger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute, Jo Ariesen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ture Burchardt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eckart Epping went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Ture Burchardt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eckart Epping in the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st match minute, Niederbolheim SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Einar Aibert to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcel Haubold in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stefan Limper prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Haubold in the 90th minute of play forced Marlishausen FC's goalkeeper Stefan Limper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Marlishausen FC were the better team. Marlishausen FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
