With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eckart Epping in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benny Klöckner saved Ramsen FSV from getting behind. Jo Ariesen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramsen FSV's Benny Klöckner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eckart Epping in the 7th minute of play. Benny Klöckner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eckart Epping, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Jo Ariesen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marlishausen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jo Ariesen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benny Klöckner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Eckart Epping had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Jo Ariesen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eckart Epping in the 32nd minute of play forced Ramsen FSV's goalkeeper Benny Klöckner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florian Staffelt hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Jo Ariesen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benny Klöckner having to interfere. Ramsen FSV's Benny Klöckner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eckart Epping in the 39th minute of play. If Dustin Bopp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dustin Bopp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adam Hunger hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute, Otmar Köstner sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ramsen FSV's Benny Klöckner didn't even have to move. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Eckart Epping made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Jo Ariesen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marlishausen FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Ansgar Thieringer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stefan Limper having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Jo Ariesen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ramsen FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marlishausen FC the free kick. In the 71st minute, one of Ramsen FSV:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ramsen FSV. When Marlishausen FC's Eckart Epping in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ramsen FSV's goalie prevented a goal. 79 minutes into the game, Reinhold Steeger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jo Ariesen got free with Benny Klöckner in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
