Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eckart Epping started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Marlishausen FC's Eckart Epping ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marko Mattern. Marko Mattern yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 6th match minute, VfL Klosterbauerschaft was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johannes Bliska to maneuver through the defense. Marko Mattern showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otmar Köstner in the 7th minute of the match. Marko Mattern took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinhold Steeger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 12 minutes, Roland Beinmagd made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Marlishausen FC's Stefan Limper tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Friedhold Loth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roland Beinmagd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Stefan Limper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Odilo Post's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Marko Mattern skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, VfL Klosterbauerschaft's Marko Mattern got control of the ball when Jo Ariesen tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Marlishausen FC's Jo Ariesen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. In the 25th minute, Eckart Epping made a precise shot to the right of Marko Mattern. VfL Klosterbauerschaft's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Friedhold Loth managed to get in a good position for a shot. VfL Klosterbauerschaft's supporters rose to their feet, but Friedhold Loth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stefan Limper breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jo Ariesen got free with Marko Mattern in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roland Beinmagd struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Stefan Limper didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VfL Klosterbauerschaft. Theodor Lohrmann hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Marlishausen FC's Jo Ariesen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. VfL Klosterbauerschaft's Marko Mattern proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save VfL Klosterbauerschaft from getting a goal against them. Stefan Limper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Beinmagd in the 43rd minute of play. Marko Mattern was a little too slow when Eckart Epping got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 5-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.

The wind increased when Roland Beinmagd made the kick off in the second half. Johannes Bliska sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jo Ariesen took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marko Mattern. Marko Mattern dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Marko Mattern took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jo Ariesen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Jo Ariesen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marko Mattern. VfL Klosterbauerschaft's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jo Ariesen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. In the 67th minute, Jo Ariesen made a precise shot to the right of Marko Mattern. VfL Klosterbauerschaft's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1. If Friedhold Loth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the VfL Klosterbauerschaft defense, Eckart Epping kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marko Mattern. The VfL Klosterbauerschaft fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marko Mattern should have stopped the shot. In the 76th minute, Johannes Bliska hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marko Mattern made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eckart Epping in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Jo Ariesen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marko Mattern was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-1. Roland Beinmagd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Stefan Limper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 87 in the game by Roland Beinmagd from a close distance when the talented Stefan Limper managed to make a qualified save. Marlishausen FC's players were relieved. A collision led to Marlishausen FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Odilo Post hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Marlishausen FC's goalkeeper Stefan Limper, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the VfL Klosterbauerschaft players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Marlishausen FC.
