After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Kassian Elzer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hamburger Sport Verein's supporters rose to their feet, but Kassian Elzer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joris Bülow breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joris Bülow showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from August Karhoff, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Kassian Elzer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joris Bülow came out and tried to block the shot, but Kassian Elzer slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 11th minute. In the 18th minute, Niklas Rinke reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joris Bülow. The goal made the score 3-0. 26 minutes into the match, Sange's goal looked a bit too open when August Karhoff came free, but Joris Bülow reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joris Bülow didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niklas Rinke went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 35th minute Dieter Kästner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kai Zenetti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sange's Christos Thies got a free kick in the 36th minute. Joris Bülow made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kassian Seelig in the 37th minute. A collision led to Sange getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Edmund Grotthaus hit a great ball. With a little luck, Sange's Joris Bülow got control of the ball when Lucien Kauch tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joris Bülow showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from August Karhoff in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Kassian Elzer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dieter Kästner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Sange's Hugo Frankenhauser got a free kick in the 54th minute. Edmund Grotthaus charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmund Grotthaus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sange getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Edmund Grotthaus hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niklas Rinke in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joris Bülow saved Sange from getting behind. Joris Bülow showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niklas Rinke in the 65th minute of the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Christos Thies managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sange's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christos Thies was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th minute, Niklas Rinke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute, Niklas Rinke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joris Bülow was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 73 minutes into the game, Dieter Kästner cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Kai Zenetti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by August Karhoff in the 76th minute of play forced Sange's goalkeeper Joris Bülow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Sange's Christos Thies got a free kick in the 78th minute. Raoul Omilade's late challenge caught a Hamburger Sport Verein's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raoul Omilade helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sange getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Raoul Omilade hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, Niklas Rinke notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Sange's Joris Bülow. Joris Bülow was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. August Karhoff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joris Bülow having to interfere. 87 minutes into the game, Hamburger Sport Verein's Niklas Rinke nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joris Bülow made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. After 92 minutes, Niklas Rinke made it 8-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sange's Joris Bülow tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sange's Joris Bülow played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by August Karhoff in the 95th minute of play. Christos Thies charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christos Thies the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sange getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Christos Thies hit a great ball. Hamburger Sport Verein's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
