If Karl Steinkogler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vladimir Ansieg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Esra Seyler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viktor Höger made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Johannes Schlimm sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in KSC-Allstars's zone, Raiko Braunheim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esra Seyler came out of the goal and Raiko Braunheim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raiko Braunheim in the 38th minute of play forced KSC-Allstars's goalkeeper Esra Seyler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esra Seyler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimir Ansieg in the 40th minute of play. In the 46th minute Mike Rauh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esra Seyler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gunter Heil to make the kick off. Esra Seyler came out and tried to block the shot, but Mike Rauh slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 90th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johannes Schlimm in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viktor Höger prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
