In the 12th minute Jannik Benischke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ede Süßmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Akim Pflüger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Walther Sittarz made a great header on SV Luikicker's corner, it was just that Westerland FC's Ede Süßmann managed to reach the ball for a save. Connor Löhr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akim Pflüger in the 24th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of SV Luikicker:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Westerland FC:s goal. 29 minutes into the match, Westerland FC's goalkeeper Ede Süßmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Konrad Machura. When SV Luikicker's Jannik Benischke in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Westerland FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in SV Luikicker's zone, Akim Pflüger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Konrad Machura in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ede Süßmann, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Raphael Hoersch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Connor Löhr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Jannik Benischke made the kick off in the second half. Thilo Bopp struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Connor Löhr didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Westerland FC. Akim Pflüger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Connor Löhr having to interfere. Jannik Benischke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ede Süßmann having to interfere. Tim Metzner got his second yellow card in the match during the 62nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Tim Metzner hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Ted Darmstadt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. 69 minutes into the game, Ivica Yilmaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SV Luikicker's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Westerland FC the free kick. After 69 played minutes SV Luikicker got a freekick which was hit by Ivica Yilmaz. Ede Süßmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konrad Machura in the 71st minute of the match. Raphael Hoersch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Connor Löhr having to interfere.
