Hooligan's Omid Epping got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Arnim Blank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hooligan's Rolf Werners played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Görlitz in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Görlitz in the 14th minute of play forced Hooligan's goalkeeper Rolf Werners to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnim Blank fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolf Werners having to interfere. When Arnim Blank came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Bentgerhof FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnim Blank couldn't finish the play. When Angel Neugebauer, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 25 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Rollo Trieb was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnim Blank in the 30th minute of play forced Hooligan's goalkeeper Rolf Werners to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Hooligan's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Görlitz came free, but Rolf Werners reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Hooligan's Rolf Werners got control of the ball when Arnim Blank tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Omid Epping had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 played minutes Bentgerhof FSV got a freekick which was hit by Alfons Behnert. In the 75th minute of the match Mo Bezka shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rollo Trieb showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Arnim Blank received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Rolf Werners tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bentgerhof FSV eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
