The wind increased when Francis Weiß made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Robert Ohlicher's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Siegmund Buck was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. With a little luck, Sportfreunde Laubendorf's Erko Kranz got control of the ball when Heimito Schock tried to sneak it across the goal line. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Andi von Fraunhofen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robert Ohlicher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Siegmund Buck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Francis Weiß kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Erko Kranz. That made the score 2-3 in the 93 minute of play.
