Spectators: 7842 (Terracing: 6043, Seating: 1749, VIP seats: 50) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Deon Grooten took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ashley Bäßler in the 3rd minute of play forced Ilserheide FC's goalkeeper Henning Rühmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ilja Wöllner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Henning Rühmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Henning Rühmann successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Hansa Rostock getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Werner Jahn hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ashley Bäßler in the 9th minute of play forced Ilserheide FC's goalkeeper Henning Rühmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ilja Wöllner who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Henning Rühmann when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Ashley Bäßler came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Hansa Rostock fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ashley Bäßler couldn't finish the play. 1-0 became the score in the 16th minute when Ashley Bäßler elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 21 minutes, Deon Grooten mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ilserheide FC and the Hansa Rostock players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 21 played minutes Ilserheide FC got a freekick which was hit by Deon Grooten. 22 minutes into the match, Hansa Rostock's Ashley Bäßler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henning Rühmann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Henning Rühmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ashley Bäßler in the 24th minute of play. When Hansa Rostock's Ashley Bäßler in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ilserheide FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 29th minute, Ashley Bäßler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Davor Saller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berko Henke in the 32nd minute of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Ashley Bäßler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hansa Rostock's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ashley Bäßler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henning Rühmann was a little too slow when Ashley Bäßler got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ashley Bäßler made a kick off. Ashley Bäßler scored 3-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henning Rühmann, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ashley Bäßler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Henning Rühmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 58 played minutes Ilserheide FC got a freekick which was hit by Deon Grooten. 64 minutes into the game, Hansa Rostock's Ashley Bäßler nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henning Rühmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 66th minute Timur Pilz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Rühmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th match minute, Ilserheide FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sol Motz to maneuver through the defense. Henning Rühmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ashley Bäßler in the 68th minute of play. If Ashley Bäßler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Davor Saller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deon Grooten, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Ilserheide FC's Henning Rühmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ashley Bäßler in the 78th minute of play. Henning Rühmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ashley Bäßler in the 81st minute of play. Ilja Wöllner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frank-Ulrich Küpper was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 85 minutes into the match. After 86 played minutes Hansa Rostock got a freekick which was hit by Frank-Ulrich Küpper. Ilserheide FC's André Döhler couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 87th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hansa Rostock. In the 90thth minute of the game Ilja Wöllner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ilserheide FC's Henning Rühmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Ilserheide FC's Jostein Latocha got a free kick in the 91st minute. After some careless play in the Ilserheide FC defense, Ashley Bäßler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henning Rühmann. The Ilserheide FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henning Rühmann should have stopped the shot. Hansa Rostock's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
