Eric Metzner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fynn Eschlimann kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Erwin Hayer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulf Fritzsche, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnulf Fritzsche in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erwin Hayer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14th minute Arnulf Fritzsche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erwin Hayer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Niederehe FC defense, Arnulf Fritzsche kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erwin Hayer. The Niederehe FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erwin Hayer should have stopped the shot. Arnulf Fritzsche could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Erwin Hayer made a huge save. Arnulf Fritzsche was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 18th minute. Haddenberg FS's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 22nd minute Ty Burschick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenobio Krebs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Niederehe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulf Fritzsche came free, but Erwin Hayer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Haddenberg FS's Tankred Kowalski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Erwin Hayer. Erwin Hayer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Klaus Kreber charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Klaus Kreber the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Haddenberg FS booed when Niederehe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klaus Kreber didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erwin Hayer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulf Fritzsche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Haddenberg FS defense, Ty Burschick kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zenobio Krebs. The Haddenberg FS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zenobio Krebs should have stopped the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ty Burschick made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnulf Fritzsche in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erwin Hayer saved Niederehe FC from getting behind. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Niederehe FC! Haddenberg FS's Arnulf Fritzsche got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Haddenberg FS's Zenobio Krebs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ty Burschick in the 71st minute of play. Niederehe FC's Conrad Themann was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zenobio Krebs in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Haddenberg FS getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Eric Metzner hit a great ball. Eric Metzner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erwin Hayer having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ty Burschick in the 83rd minute of play forced Haddenberg FS's goalkeeper Zenobio Krebs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Arnulf Fritzsche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnulf Fritzsche struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Erwin Hayer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haddenberg FS. After a defensive mix-up in Haddenberg FS's zone, Dietbald Nissler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zenobio Krebs came out of the goal and Dietbald Nissler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnulf Fritzsche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erwin Hayer having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Haddenberg FS fully deserved thier win.
