Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Özcan Schwochow made the kick off which started today's match. Werner Grund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Obermeier having to interfere. 4 minutes into the game, Alfred Fuchs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oberdurwittgen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sin City 73 the free kick. Alfred Fuchs kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Patrick Czerwinsky kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Hans Peukert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özcan Schwochow in the 14th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Werner Grund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sin City 73's supporters rose to their feet, but Werner Grund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herbert Obermeier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Özcan Schwochow received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Hans Peukert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sin City 73's Kuno Bährmann in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Oberdurwittgen's goalie prevented a goal. In the 27th minute, Friedl Plischke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Werner Grund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sepp Bärwolf's late challenge caught a Oberdurwittgen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sepp Bärwolf helped the player get up and apologised. After 35 played minutes Sin City 73 got a freekick which was hit by Irmin Kühlem. Friedl Plischke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Hans Peukert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hans Peukert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özcan Schwochow in the 38th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sin City 73's zone, Friedl Plischke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hans Peukert came out of the goal and Friedl Plischke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes into the match, Sin City 73's goal looked a bit too open when Özcan Schwochow came free, but Hans Peukert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The supporters of Oberdurwittgen booed when Sin City 73 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sepp Bärwolf didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mauritz Sorge, 51 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Hans Peukert didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Friedl Plischke went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Herbert Obermeier came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sin City 73's Werner Grund. But to his dismay, Werner Grund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Hans Peukert didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Özcan Schwochow went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Kuno Bährmann struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Herbert Obermeier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sin City 73. Oberdurwittgen's Herbert Obermeier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kuno Bährmann in the 77th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kuno Bährmann in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herbert Obermeier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Werner Grund got free with Herbert Obermeier in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Oberdurwittgen booed when Sin City 73 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sepp Bärwolf didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herbert Obermeier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kuno Bährmann's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Patrick Czerwinsky hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Oberdurwittgen's Herbert Obermeier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Oberdurwittgen from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Sin City 73's Irmin Kühlem got a free kick in the 95th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Oberdurwittgen's Mauritz Sorge broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Oberdurwittgen fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sin City 73 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
