Overdrive's Christoph Neumann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Overdrive from getting a goal against them. When Peter Wald fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Overdrive's protests and gave Peter Wald a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Overdrive getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Peter Wald hit a great ball. In the 19th minute of the match, Jerome Förster tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Christoph Neumann saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
