After a rather tough play, VfL Blau Weiß's Simon Schulzki got a free kick in the 12th minute. The supporters of Küstorf booed when VfL Blau Weiß was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helmut Wallner didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute Ilja Schaechter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorg Gerhold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Simon Schulzki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Küstorf's Armin Schädel got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. VfL Blau Weiß's Jorg Gerhold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johann Kaas in the 30th minute of play. Robert Schowanek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Welf Surkemper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, VfL Blau Weiß's Hagen Klein got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute of the match Ilja Schaechter shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorg Gerhold showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Robert Schowanek scored 0-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorg Gerhold, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Johann Kaas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Jorg Gerhold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

If Johann Kaas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sören Gewalt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jorg Gerhold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Schowanek in the 57th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Loris Strasser got free with Jorg Gerhold in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Loris Strasser in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorg Gerhold saved VfL Blau Weiß from getting behind. Jorg Gerhold made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Johann Kaas sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to VfL Blau Weiß getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Claudius Thumser hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Schowanek in the 72nd minute of play forced VfL Blau Weiß's goalkeeper Jorg Gerhold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mustafa Spindler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Welf Surkemper's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. After 75 minutes, Loris Strasser mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Küstorf and the VfL Blau Weiß players grew even worse after the yellow card. Küstorf's Mustafa Spindler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Welf Surkemper in the 79th minute of play. A collision led to Küstorf getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Armin Schädel hit a great ball. Sören Gewalt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Spindler having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Robert Schowanek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Küstorf's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Schowanek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorg Gerhold breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Johann Kaas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Jorg Gerhold when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Johann Kaas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorg Gerhold having to interfere. The Küstorf players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
