The crowd rose to their feet as Schulze Neuhof FSV's Sebastian Hammann slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hans Peukert. That made the score 4-0 after 41 minutes of play. Hans Peukert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulrich Polzin in the 45th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Ulrich Polzin made the kick off in the second half. Schulze Neuhof FSV's Hugo Vitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kuno Bährmann in the 53rd minute of play. Henrico Hassel charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henrico Hassel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Irmin Kühlem was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 90th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of Sin City 73 booed when Schulze Neuhof FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eike Beinkämpen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hans Peukert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulrich Polzin, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Schulze Neuhof FSV walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
