Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ulrich Polzin started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Louis Steffen threw the ball into play from the sideline. Schulze Neuhof FSV's Sebastian Hammann quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 7 minutes into the match, VfL Blau Weiß's Sören Gewalt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugo Vitz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 9 minutes into the match, Schulze Neuhof FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Sören Gewalt came free, but Hugo Vitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 11 played minutes Schulze Neuhof FSV got a freekick which was hit by Eike Beinkämpen. Hugo Vitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Welf Surkemper in the 12th minute of the match. Dennis Kremm kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Gösta Hampl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Schulze Neuhof FSV's Hugo Vitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Welf Surkemper in the 21st minute of play. In the 24th match minute, VfL Blau Weiß was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Helmut Wallner to maneuver through the defense. If Sebastian Hammann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Schulze Neuhof FSV's Hugo Vitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Welf Surkemper in the 29th minute of play. Hugo Vitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sören Gewalt in the 31st minute of the match. Schulze Neuhof FSV's Oscar Thal quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Helmut Wallner, made in the 39th minute of the game. A collision led to Schulze Neuhof FSV getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Casimir Jahnen hit a great ball. Welf Surkemper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Vitz having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Welf Surkemper made a kick off. Hugo Vitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sören Gewalt in the 52nd minute. When Ulrich Polzin came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Schulze Neuhof FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulrich Polzin couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Schulze Neuhof FSV's zone, Sören Gewalt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Vitz came out of the goal and Sören Gewalt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eike Beinkämpen hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, Eike Beinkämpen made a precise shot to the right of Jorg Gerhold. VfL Blau Weiß's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Ulrich Polzin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Schulze Neuhof FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulrich Polzin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorg Gerhold breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ulrich Polzin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, VfL Blau Weiß's goal looked a bit too open when Eike Beinkämpen came free, but Jorg Gerhold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92 played minutes VfL Blau Weiß got a freekick which was hit by Moritz Diers. Ulrich Polzin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorg Gerhold having to interfere. In the 95th match minute, VfL Blau Weiß was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudius Thumser to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the Schulze Neuhof FSV players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
