Welf Surkemper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonius Bache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Jorg Gerhold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Herscheid FC's zone, Simon Schulzki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arthur Abermatt came out of the goal and Simon Schulzki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luca Scholze during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, Herscheid FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Scholze to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the game, Welf Surkemper recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arthur Abermatt. Welf Surkemper showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Jorg Gerhold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonius Bache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herscheid FC's Arthur Abermatt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Herscheid FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Herscheid FC booed when VfL Blau Weiß was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Schulzki didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute Welf Surkemper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur Abermatt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorg Gerhold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonius Bache, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Antonius Bache put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jorg Gerhold. If Benedikt Hefter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonius Bache kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.

Isidor Hefter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jorg Gerhold having to make a save. 54 minutes into the match, Herscheid FC's Antonius Bache sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorg Gerhold narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedikt Hefter in the 56th minute of play forced VfL Blau Weiß's goalkeeper Jorg Gerhold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benedikt Hefter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd match minute, VfL Blau Weiß was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudius Thumser to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sören Gewalt in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arthur Abermatt saved Herscheid FC from getting behind. After having played for 66 minutes, Benedikt Hefter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Herscheid FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedikt Hefter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to VfL Blau Weiß getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Moritz Diers hit a great ball. Welf Surkemper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Arthur Abermatt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sören Gewalt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, Herscheid FC's goal looked a bit too open when Welf Surkemper came free, but Arthur Abermatt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonius Bache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorg Gerhold having to interfere. Antonius Bache's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorg Gerhold read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Herscheid FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sören Gewalt came free, but Arthur Abermatt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. VfL Blau Weiß's Welf Surkemper got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
