Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kuno Bährmann took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th match minute, FC Westsachsen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrad Busse to maneuver through the defense. 4 minutes into the match, FC Westsachsen's goal looked a bit too open when Kuno Bährmann came free, but Ole Regitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hans Peukert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Käppele, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After 25 played minutes, Sin City 73's Wendelin Weyand shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ole Regitz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sin City 73 reached it. Hans Peukert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raiko Gudat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Käppele in the 32nd minute of play forced Sin City 73's goalkeeper Hans Peukert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raiko Gudat scored 0-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hans Peukert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 39 minutes, Werner Grund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sin City 73's supporters crossed their fingers, but Werner Grund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Westsachsen's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Kuno Bährmann 40 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Ole Regitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Werner Grund in the 45th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Kuno Bährmann struck a weak shot in the 50th minute. Ole Regitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sin City 73. Conrad Busse hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After 53 played minutes, Sin City 73's Irmin Kühlem shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ole Regitz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sin City 73 reached it. In the 55th minute, Raiko Gudat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ralph Rebele during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sin City 73 getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Ralph Rebele hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, Sin City 73's goalkeeper Hans Peukert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raiko Gudat. Hans Peukert came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Westsachsen's Raiko Gudat. But to his dismay, Raiko Gudat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Sin City 73's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Hector Käppele scored to the left of an out of position Hans Peukert, making the score, 1-3. After a rather tough play, Sin City 73's Ralph Rebele got a free kick in the 75th minute. Raiko Gudat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 81st minute of the match Ralph Rebele completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ralph Rebele a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 82 played minutes Sin City 73 got a freekick which was hit by Ralph Rebele. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Hector Käppele managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Westsachsen's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Käppele was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hans Peukert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hans Peukert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Käppele, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 96th minute, Werner Grund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
