Spectators: 7531 (Terracing: 5981, Seating: 1545, VIP seats: 5) Rangsdorf's Lenílson Netto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Achim Tuchel in the 6th minute of play forced Rangsdorf's goalkeeper Bodo Haas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Torpedo Babelsberg booed when Rangsdorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Rahm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horst Hackbarth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bodo Haas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Achim Tuchel during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Achim Tuchel kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Horst Hackbarth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bodo Haas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Torpedo Babelsberg! Mouritz Haxager shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Bodo Haas came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Torpedo Babelsberg's Achim Tuchel. But to his dismay, Achim Tuchel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Achim Tuchel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lenílson Netto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tim Stöwer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Hans Lojewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Achim Tuchel made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Eric Ostendorff got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hans Lojewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lenílson Netto, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. When Lenílson Netto came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Rangsdorf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lenílson Netto couldn't finish the play. Tim Stöwer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hans Lojewski having to make a save. Artur Rahm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Hans Lojewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68thth minute of the game Lenílson Netto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Torpedo Babelsberg's Hans Lojewski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lenílson Netto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Hans Lojewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Achim Tuchel in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bodo Haas saved Rangsdorf from getting behind. Hans Lojewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lenílson Netto, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Lenílson Netto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tim Stöwer scored 1-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hans Lojewski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In a very dangerous position, a player in Torpedo Babelsberg fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! The referee gave Rangsdorf a penalty, 83 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mouritz Haxager, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Torpedo Babelsberg's Hans Lojewski. 2-1. Bodo Haas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Achim Tuchel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Rangsdorf players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
