An unexpectedly hard shot by Lenílson Netto in the 3rd minute of play forced Oldenbüttel's goalkeeper Bert Becker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bodo Haas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marc Huhn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Lenílson Netto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bert Becker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rangsdorf's Bodo Haas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Rangsdorf from getting a goal against them. Levan Schub could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Bodo Haas made a huge save. A collision led to Oldenbüttel getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Marc Huhn hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lenílson Netto in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bert Becker saved Oldenbüttel from getting behind. In the 27th minute Detlef Schapiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bodo Haas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Levan Schub cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Bodo Haas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bodo Haas made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Levan Schub sent off a good shot on target. In the 42nd match minute, Rangsdorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fodil Rimitti to maneuver through the defense. When Detlef Schapiro came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Oldenbüttel fans jumped to their feet. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Lenílson Netto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bert Becker was relentless in the 95th minute of the game.
