Hans Lojewski came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by FC-Niwki's Kasper Scholl. But to his dismay, Kasper Scholl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. A collision led to FC-Niwki getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Thomas Denzin hit a great ball. Horst Hackbarth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 35 minutes of play, FC-Niwki's Thomas Denzin made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hans Lojewski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Theodor Bork sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 41 minutes, Theodor Bork managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC-Niwki's supporters crossed their fingers, but Theodor Bork was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Stefan Hach put it in 2-4 from a short distance just to the right of Hans Lojewski. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stefan Hach to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Thomas Denzin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC-Niwki's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Denzin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th minute of the match Hannes Steinkirchner shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henning Basing showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kasper Scholl struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Hans Lojewski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC-Niwki. Hans Lojewski was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Thomas Denzin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Thomas Denzin really showed his touch with that goal: 2-6. Hans Lojewski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Thomas Denzin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-7 in the 93 minute of play.
