Timo Meisinger's late challenge caught a Bottenberg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Timo Meisinger helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Obertsloh getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Timo Meisinger hit a great ball. With a little luck, Bottenberg's Frans Thomaschewski got control of the ball when Ali Murat Franke tried to sneak it across the goal line. Timo Meisinger was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 16th minute. Obertsloh's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Patrick Balken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Obertsloh's goal looked a bit too open when Eduard Kretz came free, but Torsten Körner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Obertsloh's Torsten Körner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Balken in the 28th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Obertsloh's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Balken came free, but Torsten Körner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute of the match Luka Kasparick sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Torsten Körner skillfully saved the ball. Sergio Olk hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After 39 played minutes, Bottenberg's Luka Kasparick shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Torsten Körner came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bottenberg reached it. 45 minutes into the game, Luka Kasparick was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bottenberg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Obertsloh the free kick. In the 45th match minute, Bottenberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luka Kasparick to maneuver through the defense. Torsten Körner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduard Kretz in the 51st minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Timo Meisinger to strike the kick off in the second half. If Kostja Wollbrinck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kostja Wollbrinck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Körner having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Bottenberg's Torsten Körner threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eduard Kretz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Timo Meisinger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Frans Thomaschewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torsten Körner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduard Kretz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Obertsloh's Timo Meisinger got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 79 played minutes Bottenberg got a freekick which was hit by Kostja Wollbrinck. After 82 played minutes Bottenberg got a freekick which was hit by Bernhard Birnstiel. In the 83rd minute of the match Taketaka Scheiff sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Frans Thomaschewski skillfully saved the ball. Emanuel Schöneberg hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Torsten Körner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduard Kretz in the 88th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Ali Murat Franke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Torsten Körner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patrick Balken in the 94th minute. Obertsloh's Torsten Körner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 100th minute of the match, managed to save Obertsloh from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Bottenberg players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
